Edythe Anstey Hanen is a writer living on Bowen Island, British Columbia. She studied Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia and was a writer and editor of the Bowen Island Undercurrent community newspaper for 17 years. She has published articles, short stories and poetry in magazines as well as in the Globe & Mail, the National Post and the Hamilton Bay Observer. Her prize-winning stories are published in several literary magazines and four anthologies. She is a member of the B.C. Federation of Writers and the Canadian Authors Association.
