I’m interested in information on the small “native” Jewish community in Venta Prieta, Hgo. (just outside of Pachuca) and would be grateful for anything that anyone might know about it.

I’ve heard about this community also, and I’d welcome more information about it. I have read about a small Indian synagogue in the southern part of Mexico City. https://www.jer1.co.il/communities/wjcbook/mexico/index.htm is a photo of a Mexican Indian Jew praying in the synagogue at Venta Prieta.
