In a former life, I might have been either a Mexican maiden or a pioneer woman. At least that’s one explanation for my greatest passions – the people, places and happenings of Mexico and the rugged hills and hardy people of Colorado and New England.
Prior to retirement, I divided my time between the remote ranchland/wilderness of northwest Colorado and the colonial city of Oaxaca, in southern Mexico. In 1999, I started spending more and more time in Mexico and sold my Colorado condo. Now, I own a small house in Lebanon, New Hampshire and rent a large home in Oaxaca city, which I share with visitors and travelers.
In my former life, I was a newspaper reporter, teacher, social worker, public relations writer and freelance writer. Now I write articles for fun and only sometimes, profit.
I welcome correspondence with Mexicophiles and adventurers of all sorts everywhere.
